Lamination unit
Lamination is one of the processes used to produce a large range of thin (< 0.15mm) multilayer structures without the necessity for a multilayer co-extrusion line. The lamination process provides not only an cost-effective solution but also the flexibility to adapt your production line to changing customer requirements.
Depending on the application/final layer configuration, barrier foils such as EVOH or EVA in combination with PE or add a thin layer with a print can be laminated onto the extruded sheet. In addition to the choice of film, MEAF’s inline lamination process can either be a part of the extrusion process or placed after the calander.
