MEAF completes FAT for Egyptian customer

MEAF has successfully finalized the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for one of our esteemed clients in Egypt, marking another important milestone in our long-standing cooperation with customers in the region. Although not the first line supplied to this market, this project once again demonstrates MEAF’s proven expertise in high-performance, energy-efficient sheet extrusion solutions.

The co-extrusion line is specifically engineered for PET sheet production up to 1.6 mm thickness. Thanks to its optimized configuration, including a horizontal rollstack, the line delivers excellent sheet flatness, precise thickness control, and highly consistent production quality. At the same time, the energy-efficient design significantly reduces power consumption, contributing to lower operating costs and a more sustainable production process.

Beyond PET, the line was also designed to process PP, highlighting one of MEAF’s key strengths: exceptional material flexibility. With MEAF extruders, switching between PET and PP can be done without replacing the screw, allowing producers to respond quickly to changing market demands while minimizing downtime and additional investment.
